Is Quebec really an equal society? This winter, we’re calling out to communities province-wide to voice an opinion on this question and shake up our societal snowglobe.

We’re looking for Short videos under a minute long that tackle the issue of equality (or inequality) in Quebec. “Equality” could refer to gender, city or region, culture, age, religion, urban or rural, or in any other aspect of society. We’d like you to interpret this question in the form of a social ad – a short, socially-conscious video with a strong message.

There are great prizes totalling $1000 up for grabs, and the winners will be announced at a special event in conjunction with the INM on the 24th of March, 2011 from 5pm-8pm at the Café-Bar of the Cinémathèque Québécoise, 335 de Maisonneuve East (at St-Denis).
